Ms. Jennifer Bostek and Covington Students
Birmingham Covington School
1525 Covington Rd.
Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301
Dear Ms. Bostek and Covington Students,
All of us at the Michigan Animal Adoption Network would like to
thank you for your generous donation of $86 through the Roots
and Shoots program. Your generosity is appreciated more than you
know. The funds will be well used to support our many animal
advocacy endeavors.
In 2005, the Hurricane Katrina project dominated. As an
organization, we rescued more than 200 cats and dogs from the
hurricane-ravaged region. The first-of-its-kind project brought
a tremendous amount of satisfaction and pride to MAAN and its
supporters.
This year, we also held two low-cost vaccination clinics in
Pontiac, and the results were phenomenal, with more than 1,500
animals receiving vaccines.
In 2007, we will continue to focus on the Animal Care Network
and the countless animals on its routes in Pontiac and Inkster,
the low-cost spay/neuter program, with which the organization
has sterilized approximately 6,000 animals since its inception
in 1994, and the Adopt-A-Pet Program, which places rescued
animals in new, loving homes.
We cannot adequately convey our deep appreciation for your
donation. In the coming year, we plan on making you more proud
than ever to have chosen us as a beneficiary.
Gratefully,
Marie Skladd, President
R. Joseph Cole, Vice President/Treasurer
Ilse Kappy, Assistant Secretary
Amy Wettlaufer, Network Manager
